All admitted QCB students receive full financial support for the duration of their Ph.D., including tuition, a competitive stipend, and health benefits. The support is made possible through a combination of funds from Princeton University, federal grants, grants to faculty members, and teaching funds.

Admitted students who score below a 27 on the speaking subsection of the TOEFL iBT will be required to take an English placement test at Princeton. Students who do not pass the test will be required to enroll in English Language Program classes.
Admitted students who score below an 8.0 on the speaking subsection of the IELTS will be required to take an English placement test at Princeton. Students who do not pass the test will be required to enroll in English Language Program classes. IELTS scores expire after two years from your original test date. If you have questions about the validity of your IELTS scores, please contact IELTS. If IELTS is able to send your valid scores, we will accept them. We do not accept expired or self-reported test scores nor do we accept copies of test reports.
