All applicants are required to take the general portion of the?Graduate Record Exam (GRE)?administered by?ETS. The GRE must be taken at least a month prior to the application deadline and the score cannot be more than 5 years old. GRE scores are considered in the context of the applicant's whole record, but a strong applicant will normally have a total minimum score on the GRE verbal and quantitative section of 302 (preferably a minimum of 151 on the Verbal and minimum of 151 on the quantitative section).
