Because the Professional Master’s Degree is a non-thesis (non-research) degree, Rice University does not offer tuition waivers, stipends, fellowships or assistantships for this program. Corporate scholarships are sometimes available and all accepted students are eligible to apply.

The Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) test is required for any student whose native language is not English. Applicants, who already hold a degree from an American university, are exempt from providing a TOEFL score.
