About the Project
We have dedicated funding available for a project in one or more of the following areas (covering UK level fees plus a stipend matched to UKRI level; currently £20,780/year). Funding for this project has already been allocated and will be awarded to the most qualified applicant.
· Social, economic and/or political simulations to support sustainable policy making
· Modelling people’s decisions around risk, inequality and well-being of self and others
· Spatial and transport planning, especially pedestrian and cycling networks
Methods that can be used to support this include serious games for public engagement, machine learning and artificial intelligence, geographic information systems, agent based modelling, systems modelling. We also have access to various proprietary data sources including Meta (Facebook) Data for Good.
The supervision team have links to industry partners, public and third sector policymakers who may also be able to advise on projects relevant to their interests, including
