北京汇文中学始建于1871年，是首都百年名校，现为包括高中部、初中部以及国际部在内的完全中学。
北京汇文中学校园占地总面积53128平方米，其中包括教学楼、实验楼、综合楼、学生公寓楼、体育场和体育馆，有现代化的多媒体和远程教育设施，图书馆藏书十二万册。

A Brief Introduction of Beijing Huiwen Middle School
Founded in 1871, Beijing Huiwen Middle School has a legendary history of over one hundred and forty years. It is a complete secondary school including the senior secondary school section, the junior secondary school section and the international department.
The campus covers an area of 53128 square meters. There is a teaching building, a lab building, a multi-functional building, a dormitory building, a standard sports field and a gymnasium, with up-to-date multi-media, facilities for distance education, and a collection of 120,000 books in the library.
Huiwen sticks to whole person education as its philosophy of education, and Wisdom, Benevolence and Courage as its school motto. It also sticks to fostering student’s overall development, the integration of academic learning and morality and ethics, the integration of theoretical learning and social practice, and the integration of overall development and personalized development. It promotes the full integration of moral, mental, physical development and aesthetic education so as to improve student’s comprehensive quality and realize the ultimate goal of whole person development.
Beijing Huiwen Middle School is the first authorized secondary school in Beijing to admit foreign students from abroad. Since 1994, when Beijing Huiwen Language and Culture School was founded, over 5000 international students from more than 30 countries and areas have finished their long term or short term studies here. The international department focuses on its degree program. Its results of various university entrance exams have been steady among the top schools of basic education that are qualified for international education in China. All the graduates have been admitted by renowned Chinese or overseas universities. 语言班：
（1）必修课：汉语精读、听力、会话、读写、HSK；英语、数学等多种课程。
（2）选修课：中国画、书法、手工等。
学历班：
语文、英语、数学、物理、化学、生物、地理、历史、体育等。

学制安排
1、每学年分两个学期，第一学期从9月１日至次年的１月中旬；第二学期从2月底至7月初。
2、语言班：汉语初级、汉语高级班。学制一个学期。
3、学历班：招收初中、高中学生，初中生须具备一定的汉语水平，高中生HSK须达到四级以上，并参加相应年级的文化课考试，成绩合格者可进入学历班。
4、中国学生班：根据学生及家长要求，HSK达到五至六级的学生可编入中国学生班里学习。

Academic System
1. Every school year is divided into 2 terms. The first term is from September 1st to the middle of January of the next year; the second term is from late February to early July.
2. Chinese Language Program: The program contains a beginner’s class, and an advanced learner’s class. It is a one term program.
3. Degree Program: The program offers China’s national secondary courses (grades 7-12). Students who apply to the middle school program need to have some knowledge about Chinese. Students who apply to the high school program need to hold HSK (Chinese proficient test) band 4 or higher, and pass the entrance exams of relevant grades.
4. Studying in the Chinese Students’ classes: Excellent students who have HSK band 5 or 6 can join the Chinese students' classes as they and their parents requested.

Admission Procedures

2. Fill in the application form. (Log onto https://pan.baidu.com/s/1RI6OzceRtC8tJB-eTTTxBg and get registered or download the application form from the web and send it to huiwenlanguage@sina.com)
3. Provide the school report, the school life report and the certification of graduation or certificate of transference (for students who transfer from another school in China).
4. Provide a copy of passport and visa
5. Provide 4 recent passport photos.
☆Students who apply for the degree program need to pass the entrance examinations.

4、临时住宿登记证明原件及复印件（走读生提交）
5、提交监护人保证书公证件
6、监护人有效证件的复印件：监护人为中国人需提交身份证复印件，非北京户口需另提交居住证复印件；监护人为外国人，需提交护照复印件及居留许可复印件
7、提交父母护照复印件
8、提交学生的出生证明（医院出具的中文或英文的出生证明或经中国使馆认证的出生证明。如果提交本国文字的出生证明，需在中国境内翻译公司付费翻译）
9、18岁以上学生提交中国政府指定医院的身体健康检查表

For enrollment
1. Get registered and make the payment on time.
2. Submit the student’s passport.
3. Submit the certificate of school attendance, or the certificate of graduation or the certificate of transference (for students who transfer from another school in China).
4. Only for day students: provide the original document and a copy of Temporary Resident Permit.
5. Provide notified letter of guarantee signed by their guardians
6. Provide a photocopy of the guardian’s valid certificates: ID card for Chinese guardian (If the guardian is not a resident of Beijing, the guardian should provide the photocopy of Temporary Resident Certification.); the passport and Temporary Resident Permit for an overseas guardian.
7. Provide a photocopy of the parents’ passports
8. Provide the student’s certificate of birth (Issued by the hospital in English or Chinese or a certificate of birth notarized by the Chinese embassy. For an original certificate of birth in languages other than Chinese or English, it needs to be translated in a professional translation company in China with a fee charged.)
9. Students aged over 18 should provide a medical-examination form issued by one of the hospitals designated by the Chinese government.
