Experiments in Microbiology is an introductory course dealing with basic principles and experiments in this field. The contents include: asepsis operation technology, medium preparation and sterilization, environment microbe isolation, microbe cell counting on plate medium and blood counting chamber, the determination of coliform in water, colony features of filamentous fungi, and bacteria, actinomyces and yeast observation, Gram stain of bacteria, microscopic techniques, microbe cell size determination, microbe growth rate determination and yeast transformation.
