This is an important course, a specialized direction course, which belongs to the automation profession. Mainly it introduces the operational characteristics and applied methods of various commonly used power electronic device,as well as the driving circuits, protecting circuits and serial and parallel connection of power electronic devices. With a foundation in these basics,the course explains the basic transfer circuit of power electronic,such as rectifier、DC chopping circuit、AC power control circuit an、 AC/AC frequency converter and inverted circuit,and introduces these circuit’s fundamental analysis approach、operating principle and the wave processing、calculating and design about the main circuit parameters. At the same time, the course analyses the basic control technique of commonly used PWM which belongs to power electronic transfer circuit. In the end, it simply introduces the applications of power electronic devices in electrical engineering.

电气工程的研究和学习内容包括电能的产生、传输、分配、使用以及电工装备制造等。虽然在国外Electrical Engineering对应的是电子电气工程,但在我国习惯上将偏“强电”的电气工程与偏“弱电”电子工程分为两个专业方向,电子工程的研究和学习内容则包括集成电路、信息安全、通信系统、微电子以及图像信息处理等。
